Are you one of those people who live on energy/protein bars? I used to be, and though I’ve weaned myself off that lifestyle, I am still a sucker for those “healthy” bars that usually taste too good to be true. But when you’re on the go and need quick, fast nutrition, I do think that energy bars are a great snack. The question is… is there one that has all-natural ingredients and is good for you? Amazing Grass has flavors of healthy goodness including Chocolate, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Berry, and Original, and so I was excited to try the chocolate flavor, for obvious reasons. The first thing I noticed when opening a package of the “Chocolate” flavor Superfood Energy Bar is that the bar looks like dark seaweed and has a wheat-grass type smell. Then I tried it and was pleasantly surprised as it has a smooth chocolate flavor and only hints of the green stuff, and contains everything from probiotics, maca, to their Amazing Grass green drink powder.
