We recently had our Girls in Tech Los Angeles Incubator meeting at the home of Julie Brosterman, CEO of Women and Wine. I HAD to interview her about questions about entrepreneurship in this Economy as well as how she decided to leave her company to start “Women and Wine.”

Girls Meet Up at The Standard on Sunset

Just a quick post of us Girls at the Standard on Sunset last night for our monthly Girls in Tech meeting. Laurel Kaufman and Sarah Townsend were present, but weren’t in the picture. Note to self: Get better camera to take pictures for next meeting. Also it was $15 bucks for valet!!! Annoying…okay, moving on. :)

The funniest part was that every time Robyn would make an important point, the music would get louder, or one of the performance artists would start shouting. It was truly a hilarious scene. Good seeing all of you girls! Should be a good year.

Girls in Tech Post…As Hollywood Adjusts To the Web, Content is King

Hey guys, so I was a bit crazy in the past couple of days schedule-wise and haven’t had a chance to post. But here is a link to my Girls in Tech Post, “As Hollywood Adjusts To the Web, Content is Still King.”

If you’re a regular reader of Variety or Hollywood Reporter, you’re probably aware of most of what I covered in the post, but its a good refresher.  As a Hulu.com addict myself, I think its pretty amazing that I can embed any of the shows or movies onto my blog!!! I mean think about it, I literally could never leave my blog. haha..
